Hello! I'm Caiti.
I have sort of a funny conception of Dishwalla's song softly playing when someone first clicks on this blog. ...Tell me all your thoughts on God, cause I'd really like to meet her...
Is that weird?
But really, that's pretty much what I'm doing here. These are my thoughts as I explore my personal walk with God as I am experiencing him. It's a spiritual journey through the context of contemporary American wife/motherhood. My goals are to grow in understanding, wisdom and faith.
I'm not perfect. I'll be authentically myself here. Which means I won't pretend I don't curse just because some people think I shouldn't. I won't pretend all my thoughts are predicated on holiness. They aren't. I watch "inappropriate" shows on television.
I'm just me. A real, regular person pondering God and the universe. And other things.
And, if you're polite, I would love to spark some conversation.

Five(ish) things about me:
Five(ish) things about me:
1. I've always been told that I was born into the wrong century and it might be true. I think I would have made an excellent Regency heroine...minus the cholera and the typhoid and whatnot. On that note, I have a degree in English Literature and completed a graduate program in Language Arts Education. I am a bibliophile for life. Also, for the record, I am an INFP but I can fake extroversion quite well.
2. I am married to Bill, the tall dark and handsome fellow in the blue, and we have one sensitive, beautiful and melodramatic three-year-old daughter, Gemma.
My house is a Frozen explosion and you can find a random Disney Princess stashed somewhere in every room of my house. I wouldn't want it any other way.
3. I am a Midwestern girl, born and raised. Bill and I spent the first three years of our marriage in gorgeous Charleston, South Carolina and our beautiful girl was born there. While it will always hold a huge piece of my heart, there's no place like home.
Let it be known, contrary to bi-coastal opinion, Ohio is not merely one gigantic farm field for cows to graze upon.
4. I love people analysis and I am pretty intuitive so I'm very interested in understanding how people tick, myself included. I am a self described nerd with a wide range of interests. Genealogy, literature, psychology, history, religion...and as for any halfway interesting person, there's just too many to list.
5. Ours is a Catholic family. Thought it might be relevant to anyone reading so that there's an understanding of my spiritual frame of reference.
